Put your attenction at the version against which this was reported --
 it's
eralier than when the regression was introduced.

 Indeed, you are correct!

However it still would be worth to give 2.6.24-rc3 a try.

Hello, sorry for getting back so late on this. I did try 24-rc3 with no luck.
For info, I only have one disk connected to the card. Anything else I can try?
Tobias

Lost interrupt with cmd 64x

2007-11-18 Thread Tobias Oed

Hello,
I have an LSI 511 rev 2 pci card, that has 2 silicon image 0649CL160 chips on
it and an intel 80960rs100. When the bios of the card is enabled it is detected
by the megaraid_mbox driver. Since I don't want the raid function, I disable
the bios with a jumper on the card. Then I see this in lspci -vv
02:00.0 RAID bus controller: Silicon Image, Inc. SiI 0649 Ultra ATA/100 PCI to
ATA Host Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: Unknown device 7fb5:ffed
Control: I/O+ Mem- BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr-
Stepping- SERR- FastB2B-
Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=mediumTAbort- SERR-
TAbort- SERR- 23 and a mixture of kernel parameters. Since I'm doing this more
or less randomly, I'm not getting anywhere, what can I do to get this card to
work?
Thanks,
Tobias
