Go to כרטיסים ותעריפים and then try to move the mouse to any sub items, the menu goes away Thanks. I passed it on. --Amos ___ Linux-il mailing list Linux-il@cs.huji.ac.il http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il

As a user, I don't really care if the JS code is not too brilliant as long as the site is usable from the major browsers. I think that we (as Linux enthusiasts) should be focusing on fighting the IE-dependency of Israeli web sites. The problem with the JS, according to the Opera dev who wrote the article, is that it is difficult to make work. Whoever is working on that site should read it: http://thedailywtf.com/Articles/Where-the-Wild-Web-Things-Are.aspx -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il ___ Linux-il mailing list Linux-il@cs.huji.ac.il http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il

Recommendations for desktop search tool under Linux
Some time ago, I installed Beagle as my desktop search and information retrieval tool. Then I disabled it as I was not so happy with its computer use hogging combined with weakness in finding retrieving information. Now, after upgrading my PC from Debian Etch to Debian Lenny, I would like to repeat the process of searching for a desktop search tool. The article which I used at the time, and which is available at: http://www.freesoftwaremagazine.com/columns/desktop_search_tools_gnu_linux_tracker_recoll_strigi_deskbar is from almost two years ago. So I would like to ask the community for recommendations for today's state of the art desktop search tools. The Debian repositories have bewildering array of packages, which might be suitable. So I am asking: 1. Which desktop search tool are you using under Linux? 2. What are its good and bad points? 3. How happy are you with it? Quick google search haven't produced anything meaningful. For now they are using http://milon.morfix.co.il/ but it is relatively slow, requires internet connection, and is not integrated into desktop (they want to highligh a word, right-click and get a translation). What are people using? -- Arie Not so good on the UI side, but I use this script to connect to google translation service. I am not sure if it is valid to use it like this, so use at your own risk.
