There used to be (around 15 years ago) something very basic called mx which did just that. Was intended to be used in classrooms where the instructor could play with an X application and the students could see it on their own X11-terminals. I can't find it now - the name is apparently too short. The displays had to be all with the same properties (color depths etc) since all it did was to multiplex the X11 protocol messages to multiple displays.
