problem using make...
Hi all, I am using Red Hat 6.2. I am getting a lot of errors when i use make command. Is it becoz of some improper environmental variable settings?? What should they be set to??? I tried this on various make files under the filesystem (fs) subdirectory of the source code. Are there any settings to be done before running this command?? Kindly send me a CC of ur replies. Thanks in advance, srikanth - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/

tunables??
Hi All, 1. Is there a file which contains all the tunables?? 2. Are the variables - free_pages_high & free_pages_low (, which the kswapd looks for after the timer expires), tunable parameters?? 3. What range of addresses separates the Normal, High Memory & DMA zones??
