This is now a conflict between the kbuild tree and Linus' tree.

With the merge window about to open, this is a reminder that this
conflict still exists.

linux-next: manual merge of the devicetree tree with the kbuild tree

2021-02-04 Thread Stephen Rothwell
Hi all,

Today's linux-next merge of the devicetree tree got a conflict in:

  scripts/Makefile.lib

between commit:

  d73a6a04c76a ("kbuild: use always-y instead of extra-y")

from the kbuild tree and commit:

ce88c9c79455 ("kbuild: Add support to build overlays (%.dtbo)")

from the devicetree tree.

I fixed it up (see below) and can carry the fix as necessary. This
is now fixed as far as linux-next is concerned, but any non trivial
conflicts should be mentioned to your upstream maintainer when your tree
is submitted for merging. You may also want to consider cooperating
with the maintainer of the conflicting tree to minimise any particularly
complex conflicts.
