En passant à Woody, j'ai vu un avertissement qui me semble lié :
Configuring Diald
Diald needs a "fake" interface for the system to use when the
dialup link is down. The "ethertap" device is preferred for
this, as it was designed for this purpose. If ethertap is not
available, the system sets up a fake SLIP connection (the
precursor to PPP) to accomplish this.
Ethertap devices, however, are not shipped with Debian by default.
They can be created for you as part of this package
installation. It is optional, but highly recommended.
Should the ethertap devices be created?
En outre je vois ceci :

alias tap0 ethertap
options tap0-o tap0 unit=0
alias tap1 ethertap

Voilà voilà, c'est donc utile à diald.
Utilises-tu diald ?
De mon côté je me demande pourquoi l'installation à échoué.
Peut-être car j'ai une carte Ethernet que je n'utilise
qu'à la main (ifconfig eth0 puis route add) ?
