And there is no way to preset some mem?
Or do something to get the driver work again?
I don't think I'm using too much memory.

em28xx problem with 3.10-4.0

2015-06-11 Thread Gabor Z. Papp
lo lo,

I would like to use my Pinnacle Dazzle DVC usb encoder with kernels
3.10-4.0, but I'm getting the same error all the time.

Latest working kernel is the 3.4 line.

What happend with the driver?

em28xx dumps with latest stable kernel

2015-05-27 Thread Gabor Z. Papp
Hello,

I have a Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 device:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 2304:021a Pinnacle Systems, Inc. Dazzle DVC100 Audio
Device

and using it with the em28xx driver. It works fine until heavy I/O loads, where
it starts
crashing with the attached dmesg output.

It happens with 4.0.4, 3.18.x, 3.14.x
Latest working kernel version is 3.4.x

I'm trying to compile v4l-utils git 20110529, and getting the attached error.

Could you take a look at it, whats wrong?

Thanks.
