Could you post the output of dmesg (just run the command 'dmesg' from a 
terminal) to the list, that should give us an idea of what is going on. 
You might want to do this after a clean reboot (with the adapter plugged 
in) so that there isn't too much information to wade through.

Sorry, I don't know who to send this to. Not sure if it is a bug or not.

I followed your very helpful tutorial perfectly:

I have a EyeTV Diversity and have the antenna plugged in.

I will provide as much information as you need. I really want to get
this working. :)
