[Linux-traipu] [Bug 1100326]

2013-06-15 Thread Bastien Nocera
We're currently working on geoclue2, a trimmed down, more secure version of
geoclue. See:
http://www.hadess.net/2013/04/geocluing-desktop-slowly.html
for some details.

I'll try and update the code here if it hasn't changed too much since,
when geoclue2 is more featureful.

[Linux-traipu] [Bug 913006] Re: Split profile instances

2013-06-15 Thread Christian Dywan
Midori has a UI for managing profiles conveniently now. Neither
bookmarks nor history are currently shared. André might be the best
person to give input on the idea. Maybe we could have an option like
re-use history and bookmarks?

Bug description:
Browsers have profiles to save users' bookmarks, history, cookies, etc. A user
should be able to create a new window, similar to private browsing, using
their
profile that would not affect the cookies in other windows using the same
profile until this instance was closed. History and bookmarks would stay in
sync, but cookies would allow the user to sign into multiple accounts on the
same service without private browsing and losing their activity.

[Linux-traipu] [Bug 1191378] [NEW] openshot crashes during rendering most of the times on Ubuntu Studio 12.04 fresh install

2013-06-15 Thread LeLapin
Public bug reported:

AMD Athlon dual core 64 bits
Ubuntu Studio 12.04 : Linux version 3.2.0-48-lowlatency (buildd@komainu) (gcc
version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #50-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Sat Jun 8
16:00:47 UTC 2013 (fresh complete reinstall from last version Ubuntu Studio
12.04)

Openshot 1.4.3 installed from PPA
(same bug with preinstalled openshot 1.4.0, and preinstalled MLT)

ffmpeg 4:0.8.6-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 (transitional)
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg 0.10.13-1
Both from Ubuntu STudio install DVD

melt 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1
libmlt++3 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1
python-mlt5 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1
--
I've tried tu use OpenShot for abour one year. It crashes most of the times,
during rendering (Exportation), whatever codec I use (tried mpeg3, H264, mpeg2,
Divx...), in 16/9 1080, 720, 576 or even 288.
It happened to work twice (after about 10 retries) on two short (5min) videos.

I have a very important video to deliver. It's about 25 minutes long, but
crashes after less than 1/4 of rendering.
Tried about 20 times, after rebooting.
Sources are mov/h264 files, and png 1920x1080 titles.

With openshot ran in console, crash just says Erreur de segmentation (core
dumped)
My native language is french, if iy can help communication.
Plz Thx. :)
