[Linux-traipu] [Bug 1100326]
We're currently working on geoclue2, a trimmed down, more secure version of geoclue. See: http://www.hadess.net/2013/04/geocluing-desktop-slowly.html for some details. I'll try and update the code here if it hasn't changed too much since, when geoclue2 is more featureful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to Chromium Browser. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1100326 Title: Location requested by websites should be able to use GPS/mobile positioning Status in Chromium Browser: Fix Committed Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser: Confirmed Status in GeoClue: The Geoinformation Service: Confirmed Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “geoclue-providers” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: It would be nice if location requested by websites could use location found from GPS or GSM/CDMA positioning. [Linux-traipu] [Bug 913006] Re: Split profile instances
Midori has a UI for managing profiles conveniently now. Neither bookmarks nor history are currently shared. André might be the best person to give input on the idea. Maybe we could have an option like re-use history and bookmarks? ** Changed in: midori Assignee: (unassigned) = André Stösel (ivaldi) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to Chromium Browser. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/913006 Title: Split profile instances Status in Chromium Browser: New Status in Epiphany Browser: New Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser: New Status in Midori: Webkit Web browser: Triaged Status in Uzbl: New Bug description: Browsers have profiles to save users' bookmarks, history, cookies, etc. A user should be able to create a new window, similar to private browsing, using their profile that would not affect the cookies in other windows using the same profile until this instance was closed. History and bookmarks would stay in sync, but cookies would allow the user to sign into multiple accounts on the same service without private browsing and losing their activity. [Linux-traipu] [Bug 1191378] [NEW] openshot crashes during rendering most of the times on Ubuntu Studio 12.04 fresh install
Public bug reported: AMD Athlon dual core 64 bits Ubuntu Studio 12.04 : Linux version 3.2.0-48-lowlatency (buildd@komainu) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #50-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Sat Jun 8 16:00:47 UTC 2013 (fresh complete reinstall from last version Ubuntu Studio 12.04) Openshot 1.4.3 installed from PPA (same bug with preinstalled openshot 1.4.0, and preinstalled MLT) ffmpeg 4:0.8.6-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 (transitional) gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg 0.10.13-1 Both from Ubuntu STudio install DVD melt 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 libmlt++3 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 python-mlt5 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 -- I've tried tu use OpenShot for abour one year. It crashes most of the times, during rendering (Exportation), whatever codec I use (tried mpeg3, H264, mpeg2, Divx...), in 16/9 1080, 720, 576 or even 288. It happened to work twice (after about 10 retries) on two short (5min) videos. I have a very important video to deliver. It's about 25 minutes long, but crashes after less than 1/4 of rendering. Tried about 20 times, after rebooting. Sources are mov/h264 files, and png 1920x1080 titles. With openshot ran in console, crash just says Erreur de segmentation (core dumped) My native language is french, if iy can help communication. Plz Thx. :) ** Affects: openshot Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191378 Title: openshot crashes during rendering most of the times on Ubuntu Studio 12.04 fresh install Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: AMD Athlon dual core 64 bits Ubuntu Studio 12.04 : Linux version 3.2.0-48-lowlatency (buildd@komainu) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #50-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Sat Jun 8 16:00:47 UTC 2013 (fresh complete reinstall from last version Ubuntu Studio 12.04) Openshot 1.4.3 installed from PPA (same bug with preinstalled openshot 1.4.0, and preinstalled MLT) ffmpeg 4:0.8.6-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 (transitional) gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg 0.10.13-1 Both from Ubuntu STudio install DVD melt 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 libmlt++3 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 python-mlt5 0.8.8-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1 -- I've tried tu use OpenShot for abour one year.
