I see that it is using libmm library, and see the use of MM_MODEM_LOCATION_SOURCE_3GPP_LAC_CI in src/gclue-modem-source.c as pointed to in comment #1. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to Chromium Browser. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1100326 Title: Location requested by websites should be able to use GPS/mobile positioning Status in Chromium Browser: Fix Committed Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser: Confirmed Status in GeoClue: The Geoinformation Service: Won't Fix Status in The WebKit Open Source Project: Fix Released Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: New Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: New Status in geoclue-2.0 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in geoclue-providers package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: It would be nice if location requested by websites could use location found from GPS or GSM/CDMA positioning.
