My best guess is its related to the NPTL stuff in the RH9 kernel.  Have
you tried exporting LD_KERNEL_ASSUME=2.2.5 first?

the same problem.

Thanks. I've just tried LD_KERNEL_ASSUME and export it, but still have 
the same problem.
Have you downloaded the latest FPSE from MS?  The one that comes with 
the CD's is probably too old for use with RH9.

its been awhile since looking at frontpage on apache.  I do remember this 
site, which may provide some help for your endeavours.
