configuring ISDN terminal adaptor
I am trying to get my ISDN terminal adaptor to connect to the internet. I'm running red Hat 7.2. The connection process intitially begins ok but stops with the message "setting modem volume" showing in the dialog box. It looks like a configuration problem. ___ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users

Could I download it from Hongkong? :) I just upgrade the gcc in workstation 3.1 to 2.95.3 this afternoon, using tarball. In an attempt to upgrade the gcc to 3.0.2 and such I've somehow managed to break it badly...I'm fairly sure its not gcc that broken but rather the libc and glibc stuff thats messed up. -- The pivotal point is the second chance, judged by another set of criteria. Three Problems
Hi there! I have three problems configuring red hat 7.2. ISDN TERMINAL ADAPTER configuration I have an Alexion TD101 terminal adaptor (I suspect it's a windows modem) Red hat doesn't recognize it. How do I configure it manually? PRINTER CONFIGURATION I have a Canon BCJ-430j bubble jet printer. Same problem as the last one. How do I manually configure it? TYPING LETTERS AND EMAIL IN JAPANESE The cds I used to install redhat gave a choice of which language to use during installation, Japanese or English. I chose English, and installed the English version but I also chose Japanese as well as english in the language choices part during installation. I can choose to use Japanese from the loging window that prompts your password but the I get Western fonts in a jumbled order, for example, (7J*('(ld%l-) letters instead of proper Japanese characters. I could reinstall but then everything will be in Japanese and I don't want that. I only need Japanese for word processing. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance. ___ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
