[Linux-users] Linux commandline/sysadmin course restarting this coming Monday.

2020-12-01 Thread Steve Brorens
See https://LinuxUpskillChallenge.org

I've been successfully running this free course each month since February.

For most of us here, December is probably a terrible time to commit to such
a lesson-a-day course, but if it DOES suit, you'll be welcome.

Possibly a good thing to bookmark for next year, to pass on to that person
who's always saying they're keen to "up" their skills when they "get a
round tuit" :-)

I am dazed and befuddled and have no Idea what has occurred but it appears
to be beneficial.
I do not know if I am in the right place. I have attempted to join the MX
users support group. Followed directions to the best of my knowledge and
I never received an email needed to proceed. If anyone who reads this can
help, please do.

Thank you Volker and James,

Whoever wrote to mailman-admin at list, it has worked!

- We are now rid of M$pam bounces from the list, once again.

NO!!

You never waste your time arguing with dickheads, even less do you
engage with robots.

The only sensible course of action is for the list admin to remove the
idiots.

All done, exactly as described.
Seems I was the only one who included the actual offending address so
the admin could take action, instead of just quoting
  From: Microsoft... <3-kilometers-of-bla...@css.one.microsoft.com>
that Tinysquish puts in there.

Hi CLUG & GNUz,

A heads up on a project we will be looking at tonight.

DMX stage lighting, computer-driven as alternative to a dedicated
lighting mixer desk.

Using https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm for our imported USB-DMX
device (ArtNet type), testing on Ubuntu platform, how easily can we set
up https://www.qlcplus.org to run LED lights?
