Where is your boot manager? Presumably on your MBR disk? Leave it there and
point it to the kernel and root file system on the 4T drive.

[Linux-users] Can you have mbr and gpt bootups on same machine?

2015-09-12 Thread j . visch

I currently have mbr bootups on my machine but have added a 3tb and
a 4tb hard drive and want to be able to boot off one of those and still
use the full size of the disk.

Has anyone found a way of switching
easily? Or even in a complicated way?

thanks
