Half of our domains were not resolving from any of the public or ISP DNS servers. Luckily it was Sunday else we would have been firefighting all day. Re: [pfSense] Problem with pfsense website/packages?
I'm getting destination host unreachable while trying to contact packages.pfsense.org or www.pfsense.org. Traceroute gets as far as fw1.pfmechanics.com. I've tried from a couple of different internet connections with the same result. Actually disregard this, connectivity now seems to be working but when attempting to list available packages on my firewalls, I get: Unable to communicate with https://packages.pfsense.org. Please verify DNS and interface configuration, and that pfSense has functional Internet connectivity. I can now traceroute to and ping packages.pfsense.org but perhaps something isn't working on the backend? Re: [pfSense] Problem with pfsense website/packages?
Everything was down for me as well, but looks like the website is back up. I haven't tried packages in a while, but will come back to it tomorrow when I try to do a fresh install onto flash media.
