Sorry for this very-very late answer. co'agi'e should be co'argi'eor it breaks down into cmavo clusterco'a gi'e. Right, right. Also, friliji'emakes no sense. You meant eitherfrilyji'e or filji'e. {frilyji'e}, naturally. xascrino should be xasycrino Doh... _ You're right, of course. But that's too much syllables. As for ma'a ca... etc. I don't think it says quite what you want it to say. Now we... - what's wrong with that? zo'e may basically always be left out without changing the meaning atall. Of course. It may. But I wantedtherhymeto rhyme. :) I think that .i naku da zo'u ma'a ca frilyji'e gi'e cautcu da maybe closer to what you want (it is not so that there is an X such that we easy-live and lack X), but I'm not quite sure that's correct either. It is (well, as far as I can determine...), and it's a good translation. Only it's not applicable for the song. I'm not certain it positively asserts that we in fact DO live a life ofease... Oh. It doesn't. But why not {ma'a ca frilyji'e i naku da zo'u ma'a cautcu da}? mu'o mi'e darves
[lojban-beginners] Meet with the Michigan Group online
Who has Teamspeak-- or can install it-- and would like to have an internet conference call with the Michigan Lojbanists on Wednesday, July 26? We meet from 7 to 11 PM Eastern Standard Time. -epkat

I've just realized that Teamspeak requires one user to set up their computer as a Teamspeak server. Servers tend to be fairly tough for me, but I'll look into it. If anyone else would like to volunteer to run the server, that would be appreciated. -epkat On 7/23/06, Torsten Schlabach [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi! I should be able to install it. So depending on the format of the meeting, I might join, but I'd probably listen only. Well, does it have to be TeamSpeak? Didn't I see an annoncement on Skype.com recently that they allow conference calls now? This would also feature video. Or just plain old NetMeeting? How many people would we be expecting? Regards, Torsten Matt Arnold schrieb: I've just realized that Teamspeak requires one user to set up their computer as a Teamspeak server. [lojban-beginners] Re: making a cmene
I could be wrong, but I think that was this passage from CLL means is that the comma is used instead of a vowel glide or non-Lojbanic sound. That is, you could use a comma when the sound is one syllable in the native language, but it would still be two syllables in Lojban. So, you could spell å¹¿å· as {guanjo,us} but that would be three syllables. I think that {guanjos} would be closer to the original Mandarin pronunciation. Maybe {guanzaus} would be better to reflect the local pronunciation, though.-Nat KrauseEarth Engine [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Thanks. Timo, you might have misunderstood me. If you were in Michigan, I'd want you to show up in person! I'm putting out an invitation for all non-Michigan jbopre (plus Alex, who is in Michigan and can't make it) to teleconference with us. Also, there's no need to speak Lojban well. There are only two of us in the local group who are passably conversationally fluent. The rest are beginners. -epkat On 7/23/06, Timo Paulssen [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Matt Arnold wrote: Who has Teamspeak-- or can install it-- and would like to have an internet conference call with the Michigan Lojbanists on Wednesday, July 26? Em... Of course. You can just do it. My drawing isn't as good as yours, I think. BTW, your English is ungrammatical... I've pointed out below. OK, in that case let's switch to trying to make it a Skype conference call instead. My user name is matt_arnold. Those who will be at my house will join me on that line.
