You should be updating to 11.2, no it will not be easily possible to

I would advise you to take a backup of /home, and any other places you
store important stuff and install fresh. Getting it running on fresh
install will be much quicker than upgrading.

LTSP 4.2 is now obsolete, it is no longer supported. See
 http://en.opensuse.org/LTSP for more.

Download openSUSE Edu Li-f-e DVD, that is the quickest/easiest way to
get LTSP running on openSUSE 11.2.

Hi J,

Thanks for the info.

Let me download it first :)

Thanks,

[Ltsp-discuss] Upgrade OpenSuse 10.3 to OpenSuse 11.1 (LTSP 4.2u2)

2009-12-06 Thread Donny Christiaan
Dear All,

I have plan to upgrade my LTSP Server distro.

From OpenSuse 10.3 to OpenSuse 11.1 without re-install but upgrade it
using OpenSuse 11.1 DVD.
I'm using LTSP 4.2u2.

Does anybody have done this before?
Is it safe for me ? :)

Best Regards,
Donny Christiaan.
