Yes, it works and it's a good idea. But it's still a problem when the document is opened on another computer, like my Gnome-Ubuntu machine. Then it will most likely look expanded. My live Lubuntu session just crashed before I had saved the file to an external drive. So I give up producing any hard evidence for today. Have to go to work now. I think it is definitely something buggy in the border regions between OOo, LXDE and Ubuntu/ Debian. I just don't know who is interested in the problem. Not got permissions to use external drives. Using users-admin 'Advanced Setting' doesn’t work, no authentication dialogue appears. Julien, no worries. I'll keep it on my server area (I have 1TB). I'll get the 10.04 notes re-done in next couple of days. A quick view on pybackpack: - The GUI seems good and simple - there is a depends on brasero, which is problematic :) Flyback seems also interesting. But there is so much choice in this area, we really need feedback from users of those solutions.
