I'm not a developer and I can't talk about the distribution side of it, but I'm with pcman in the sense that he has been improving and fixing bugs in pcmanfm in a very sensible way, so after accompanying the development process for some time I trust his priorities. @ Cilyan, that should be fixed by now. If you can try the latest libfm/pcmanfm. PCMan, thank you. I haven't built the latest yet to test but the one from yesterday had one other thing that wasn't set as translatable. When selecting more than one file/folder, it shows X items selected in English. Maybe it's from libfm/src/demo/main-win.c, line 236. Thank you, pcman. I'll comment on the interface things as it seems everything is working (I don't have remote filesystems to test that). The drop-down in the side-pane doesn't show translated, as Martin said. Regarding the new sign for pcmanfm as root, first I agree it should be changed because setting the tooltip colour to the address bar sometimes would leave the text and the background with the same colour. For me that old warning icon in the address bar was fine. The new icon, depending on the icon theme, can be almost unoticeable. I don't know what people think but maybe the change from Places←→Directory tree could be put in the 'View' menu or in the preferences so as to leave more space in the side panel? I think the old pcmanfm had a button for that, right? For me it isn't really needed to be quick to access that but for some people may be, I don't know. Pcman, maybe you should just leave blank where currently there's that Empty? I know it's a *directory *tree but it may look like there's no content in the folder. I'm not sure, you may have tried some alternatives. Or maybe use No folders? I see now that 'items' and 'hidden' are translatable but for some reason Free space: %s (Total: %s) isn't showing translated (neither when built from the master branch nor when built from the tab-rework branch). [Lubuntu-desktop] Brazilian Portuguese translation for obconf.
Hi. I've reviewed the pt_BR translation for obconf. I've sent a bug report upstream ( https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4843 ) which God only knows when will be accepted as there are many updated translations there that haven't been integrated in the git code. Anyway that bug report is for the git version, which has a slightly different template than obconf 2.0.3. The current Debian package has no translation for pt_BR (the .tar.gz upstream has one but I've revised and corrected it). I opened a bug report in Debian too with the updated pt_BR.po for obconf 2.0.3 and an obconf.desktop with pt_BR entries at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=607492 From what I could infer from the most recent Lubuntu announcement, it has its own localization packages so if that's the case you could include the pt_BR translation for obconf and also update obconf.desktop with the pt_BR entries.
