Besides it’s easy enough to do. Just create the appropriate .desktop files in the Desktop folder. Personally, I see no worth or merit in desktop icons anyway as I can’t see the desktop for applications when I’m using the computer. -- Steve Cook (Yorvyk) http://lubuntu.net ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] lxde on slax
Yes, I know, but most people (who came from Windows) would like to see a (working) Trash and a "My PC" or something like that to access. That's why Windows 7 was so cold for them, it showed an empty desktop that confused a lot of users. But I don't really know if that Slax trash works (changes its status). ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

But that still doesn’t explain the need for a Rubbish Bin icon on the desktop. It all seems a bit OMGubuntu to me. -- Steve Cook (Yorvyk) http://lubuntu.net ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
