It affects me, too, and I have posted details on this page -

The text I posted was:-

[lubuntu-users] not easy connecting to printer via wifi

2016-08-24 Thread Marlon Ng
Hi guys. Desktop computer #1 is running Lubuntu 16.04.1

Desktop computer #2 is running Windows 7. Epson L210 printer is connected
to this computer via cable.

When desktop computer #1 was running Lubuntu 14.04, all I had to do was go
to:

System Tools -> Printers -> Click Add button

and it would show the shared printer that is connected to the Windows
machine (desktop #2)

I may be wrong but that's what I remembered about it. Anyway, even if I
click:

Network Printer -> Find Network Printer

and type in the IP address of the Windows machine, it would say:

"No printer was found at that address".

But I select "Windows Printer via Samba" and type in something like this:

smb://192.XXX.X.XXX/EPSON%20L210%20Series

then I would be able to connect to it and print over wifi.

Is this a bug?
