1. ABOUT
Mailscan package for FW-MDK is an email (POP3 and SMTP) transparent antivirus
scanning solution. Scans all email (message and attachment) traffic at the
firewall for viri. Stops infected messages and notifies the client. Attachments
over a predefined file size (default=10MB) are not scanned.
2. INSTALLATION
The standard FW-MDK way:
Put package tarball and package signature in /usr/local/packages, then run
   FW-MDK#cd /usr/local/packages
   FW-MDK#./install-package.sh mailscan-VERSION INSTALL | UPGRADE
Running ldconfig might be needed after installing.
3. RUNNING
The standard FW-MDK way:
- Automatic (default): .init script is in /etc/init
- Manual (move .init script to /etc/saved):
   FW-MDK#/etc/init/mailscan.init
or stop with
   FW-MDK#/etc/init/mailscan.init stop
4. DEPENDENCIES
- FW-MDK main distribution package
- mailscan-database package (virus definitions for ClamAV)

Binaries are optimized for size, stripped and compressed with upx.
A Pentium or above class processor is needed.
All network settings are defined in main FW-MDK configuration file 
(/etc/config).
Other changes in configuration can be done by editing the config files in /etc
hierarchy (not recommended).
Package is GnuPG-signed by ECKOPT Co.
