There's certainly still a copyright checking issue on IMSLP. If I try downloading Tartini's (1692-1770) Devil's Trill sonata, I get the message: *"You have reached this page because the file you requested has not been reviewed for copyright, or is currently restricted due to technical reasons. * A significant portion of the original IMSLP is still pending copyright review, so expect the number of blocked files to decrease dramatically in the next few months after IMSLP reopening." No such problems downloading Mars, The Bringer of War by Gustav Holst (1874-1934). (I'm also in France, Jean-Marie, so if there's a problem it's not your location). But I have a nasty feeling that Holst is still in copyright here, because they add on extra years to compensate for the war years. Thanks, Mars. Maybe I'd better wipe it out again. Well, it doesn't... I have tried to empty my internet cache. I use Mozilla and there is no way to get any of the pdf files. Maybe there is still some kind of restriction for downloads out of the USA ? I don't know what's going on but it does sort of bug me ;-( Thank you for your suggestion anyway. Hi back Tony, As I replied to Stephen, I use XP with Adobe Acrobat 8 and tried yo install Foxit reader, but with the same result... I don't know what the matter is... Thank you for the tip, Stephen, but like Bernd I use XP with Adobe Acrobat 8 pro. I tried to install Foxit, as they recommend on IMSLP but had the same problem again... Too bad !
