Yes. That repository is only to transrate into Japanese, so you cannot
merge.

Is the doc-ja directory the only one I should need?

Yes. However, without modify, English man pages is overwritten with
Japanese man pages (or Japanese is overwritten with English).

So we have to modify Makefile.am (or configure.ac? I don't know
autoconf well.) to install Japanese man in other place from English man
(ex. /usr/share/man/ja).

 If not,
can you start with a fresh clone of git://github.com/lxc/lxc
staging branch and in one commit copy the needed changes over?
I'll take a look at the diff then and merge it in.

OK. I'll give it a try then.

[Lxc-users] lxc Japanese man pages

2013-09-04 Thread KATOH Yasufumi
Hi,

I translate the lxc man pages into Japanese.
  https://github.com/tenforward/lxc-doc-ja

Japanese document is in doc-ja directory. Text encoding is UTF-8.

To make Japanese man pages, run
  ./autogen.sh ; ./configure ; make (; make html)

Now this translation is based on version 0.9.0.

I tried to convert to html documents.

[Lxc-users] reboot fail debian squeeze container

2011-06-08 Thread KATOH Yasufumi
Hi,

I cannot reboot squeeze container that is created by lxc-debian template.

  HostOS: Debian Squeeze
  lxc: 0.7.4.2 (install from source)
+ set close-on-exec flag on command socket patch (- Thx!)

I make a container using lxc-create,
  # lxc-create -t debian -n squeeze

then start the container and run reboot, but no reboot.
  # lxc-start -n squeeze -d
  # lxc-console -n squeeze
: (snip)
  root@squeeze:~# reboot

by installing with lxc-debian template,
  z6:6:respawn:/sbin/sulogin
then make such a line in inittab file in container, and this line is
commented Normally not reached, but fallthrough in case of emergency.
But I seem to reach this line as follows:

# lxc-ps --lxc
CONTAINERPID TTY TIME CMD
squeeze18426 ?00:00:00 init
squeeze18768 pts/500:00:00 sulogin

I comment out that line, and run reboot, then I can reboot container.

[Lxc-users] reboot fail on natty container on natty host

2011-06-01 Thread KATOH Yasufumi
Hi,
Can you reboot on console by lxc-console in a container?
  HostOS: Ubuntu natty
  lxc version: 0.7.4-0ubuntu7.1

I make a natty container on natty host.
  # lxc-create -t natty -n natty01

I start the container, and run lxc-console, then run reboot on the console.
  # lxc-start -n natty01 -d -o log -l debug
  # lxc-console -n natty01
: (snip)
  natty01 login: root
  Password:
: (snip)
  root@natty01:~# reboot
: (snip)
  root@natty01:~# lxc-console: Input/output error - failed to read

But reboot failed, so container is stopped.
  # lxc-info -n natty01
  'natty01' is STOPPED

The log is as follows:
