Agreed - that would make it clear, that it is simply "a new niew of

Hi,

please, find attached the take 2 of this patch.

Changes:
-) LFUN renamed to "view-close"
-) when closing the last view, it can always close buffer, always hide
it, or ask the user
-) a preference "\close_buffer_with_last_view [yes|no|ask]" in
~/.lyx/preferences controls the behavior
-) the GUI allows for setting the preference in
Tools->Preferences->Look&Feel->User Interface

-) default value is: close buffer

-) Ctrl-w is now tied by default to the new LFUN.

It's in as commit 4985015. As from my understanding, the configurable
preference option makes everybody happy, and now the UI does more what
the user expects. Perhaps a new "File->Close Document" menu voice can be
added, which calls the old LFUN and closes directly the buffer.

Re: Lyx on MacBook Pro retina

Bonjour,

I just got a new MacBook Pro 15" with retina screen (which nobody care, I
guess). However, LyX is one of the very few applications which does NOT scale to the
new resolution. The result is both blurry and extremely ugly.

Is there a (VERY simple) way to fix that, or must I wait for an update?

I believe this is being fixed for 2.0.5. Stephan?
