It is 100% reproduceable. I now have LyX 2.3.0 (arch linux amd64), and the problem is exactly the same. There is the possibility that my sshfs setup is somehow wrong, or that archlinux has changed their packages. But 'cp' has no problem. I have been using this server for many years, and I don't see other problems like this. Helge Hafting
