  With the "Article" document class, the bibliography takes the largest
  label as indentation like such:
  
  \begin{thebibliography}{Glover and Laguna, 1997}
  
  I just want that:
  \begin{thebibliography}{}
  
  How do I do that without going into the Tex file to fix it and yet get
  all the nice benefits of Lyx?
 
 try 
 \renewcommand\thebibliography[1]{}
 in latex preamble
 
nope, that does not work. Shouldn't it be \renewenvironment? 
But even that gives errors.
