Wie ist es mir möglich Formeln automatisch nummerieren zu lassen? Ich

for all euqations by default have a look at

for single equations put the cursor in the mathbox
abd type alt-m-n

 You need the respective latex textclass file.
 Use Help-LaTeX_Configuration in LyX and read section 4.13

Test version of next cv class (1.5test)

2001-06-14 Thread Jean-Marc Lasgouttes

Hello,

I have updated my cv class at
  http://www-rocq.inria.fr/~lasgoutt/lyx/cv-1.5test.tar.gz

This is a test version of what I would like to distribute with
upcoming LyX 1.1.6fix3. Changes wrt version 1.4 are:
%% - 1.5 2001/??/??
%% * Add hebrew support (from Dekel Tsur)
%% * \topicmargin is now a macro and defaults to 20% of text width
%%  * Add `contbibnum' class option
%%  * Add `titleabove' class option
%% * some variables renaming and cleanups

Those of you who are interested in this class are welcome to try it
out before I include it in LyX.

Note that the margin for topics has been increased slightly and that
it is now a macro: if you used to change it via \setlength, you should
use \renewcommand instead.

Planned in next version is an algorithm to compute the best margin
automatically.

I suppose, it's a real tex-file, so you have to use
the input-command instead of the include.
why do you have the toc as an include?

Rotating the Figure Float Text 90 degrees

2001-06-14 Thread Michelle Dukich

 Greetings all:

I made a beautiful table in Lyx, rotated 90 degrees
since it was so large. The only problem I have, is
that my Figure Float text description did NOT rotate
with the table. I would prefer to have the Table
description right on top of the table in the same
direction the table is placed. I don't see anything
that will let me rotate something not within the
table.

Does anyone have a solution?

Many thanks.

Problems with BibTeX

2001-06-14 Thread Mayr

Hi, everybody,

first of all let me express my thanks to all the people who are contributing
to this list, I really learned a lot here, but now I am having a bit of a
difficulty, and my seminar paper is soon due... :-(

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask about a BibTeX Problem, so
please redirect me if my question is not appropriate for this list...

I have to use the APA Styleguide for citations (\usepackage{doc,apacite}) but
I am not sure, how to cite webpages in BibTex, so I used the following
compromise:

bibtex entry

@book{NIEa,
author  = {Nielsen, J.},
title   = {How to Conduct a Heuristic Evaluation},
year= {s.a.},
note= {Retrieved March 23, 2001 from the World Wide
http://www.useit.com/papers/test_u.html}

/bibtex entry

The problem is that the underscore _ in the cited URLS leads to four
mysterious error messages, when I try to latex my document:

Extra }, or forgotten \endgroup
Missing } inserted
Missing $ inserted
Missing $ inserted

The descriptions to the messages talk about a math enviroment but that
doesn't give me any clue at all...

I am using BibTeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 0.99c, TeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 3.14159 on SuSE 6.4

I really would appreciate some ideas or help

Best regards

Peter
