No Images can be converted

2003-10-19 Thread Toby Allen
I am trying to put some figures etc into a document
and everytime I try to view the DVI i get error
messages cant convert whatever format to eps. I have
tried heaps of different formats. I reinstalled
Imagemagick etc all to no avail. Here is one of the
error messages:

dyld: convert version mismatch for library:

user: 8.0.0 greater than library's version: 7.0.0)
/Applications/LyX.app/Contents/Resources/lyx/scripts/convertDefault.sh:

What dhould I do to correct this? How do I check
imagemagick is installed properly etc.

You can bind this to a short cut key. Search wiki.lyx.org.

Hi,

Thanks very much for that answer. Sadly my problem seems a little more
complicated. I am using prosper (Weiss layout) and want the character
in the author field of the title page. When I do accent-umlaut e as you
suggest, lyx shows it beautifully. However, the letter is completely
omitted in the postscript version as if it hasn't been typed at all.

I have attached a very simple lyx file to show what I am doing.

You have to have Edit/Preferences/Outputs/LaTeX/TeX encoding set
