problem in the package lyx-common - it contains a platform specific binary!
Hello, I have downloaded and installed LyX from: ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.0/debian-unstable/ When I tried to import a Latex file, I got this error message: sh: /usr/bin/tex2lyx: cannot execute binary file which was no longer suprising after: [EMAIL PROTECTED] file /usr/bin/tex2lyx /usr/bin/tex2lyx: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.6.0, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.0, stripped as my machine is a Intel PIII (i386) architecture. I am not subscribed to the mailing list, so I would like a reply to this e-mail when newer packages are uploaded. Have you tried putting the \thispagestyle{empty} at the end of the
"library page"?
correct page break + numbering after floats
Hi!
I'm trying to do the last few things on my thesis and got a bit stuck...
My last appendix contains a little text and then two big (one-page)
tables, in a float each. After that I need to insert a "library page", a
special page that I have in ERT, see below. On the library page their
should be no header and footer, and it should appear on a left page.
(The last table is on a right page...)
I have tried to achieve this by making a page break after the floats,
both from the LyX menue and in ERT with \clearpage and \cleardoublepage.
And I have tried to remove the headings both by \pagestyle{empty} and
\thispagestyle{empty}. But I just cannot seem to get it right.
If I place the page break after both floats I get an extra blank page
between the floats and the library page, and the library page is on a
right page. If I put the page break before or between the floats the
pages get right, but then the page with the last table gets the empty
heading, and the library page gets a normal heading. Or neither of them
gets any headings if I use pagestyle{empty}.
So I need to get the page break right, and the changed headings to apply
to the correct page. Any ideas?

Здраствуйте! Я на сайте www.lyx.org скачал установщик на Windows. После установки у меня русский шрифт не набирается, и чего-то не то с кодировкой при установке русского LyX. Как правильно настороить LyX, чтобы все работало? И где можно взять стандартные шаблоны (ГОСТы, и т.д.)? Спасибо.
