pseudo letterhead

2014-09-25 Thread Renato Pontefice
Hi,
I need to realize, a simple letterhead. I do not need the script that let
me insert the various environment (address, etc.).
I just need a simple letter, where I can insert an image on top right (in
word or open/libre office, are named header and footer) and another
image on the footer.

I'm wondering if, I can do that, with the sample letter class.

TIA

Is there a cloud service that do that?

using refstyle for Reference on Page Page references

2014-09-25 Thread Hugo Hinterberger

Hello,

I would like to use the Reference on Page Page cross-referencing
format from refstyle in LyX.
I set the Use refstyle (not prettyref) for cross-rferences option in the
Document settings, but LyX uses the \vref{LabelPrefix:Label} command for
the references.

I tried to work around LyX with this:
\usepackage{xstring}
\renewcommand{\vref}[1]{\expandafter\csname\StrBefore{#1}{:}ref\endcsname[vref]{\StrBehind{#1}{:}}}

This should essentially replace the \vref{LabelPrefix:Label} command LyX
inserts/outputs with \LabelPrefixref[vref]{Label} which would be the
refstyle command to get the Reference on Page Page cross-referencing
format.

Could someone who has more experience in TeX/LaTeX please point out what I
did wrong.

Kind regards,
Hugo

That checkbox controls what package is used for formatted references, which are

Page page references, which always use varioref regardless. (I'm not sure
why it doesn't, having never used varioref, but perhaps it already supports
babel for translation which was the main reason for switching away from
prettyref.)

As for why your workaround isn't working (if it isn't), I don't know. If no one

I have had a great deal of help from Jean-Marie Pacquet with my
problems tweaking the Koma letter environment. I will attempt to pass
on his wisdom.

Where you see “Sender name” in the Koma letter template place your
graphic, or your other entry and then move your graphic accordingly,
maybe using Ctrl+space as often as you require.

In the footer you may have to do much the same.

I see you have had some good advice from Jean-Marie on your request
last time.

Prior to using the Koma-Script letter template, I rolled my own letter
template with a plain Koma-Script article page and just placed all the
elements where I wanted much like suggested above for placing the
graphics.

I have also created a graphic with the GIMP with all the writing, with
the font I wanted and graphic placed accordingly and just inserted that
into the “Sender name” area.

Not much help, but maybe a start to what you need.
