Anyone interested in helping with translations?

2016-07-29 Thread Scott Kostyshak
Dear LyX users,

Is anyone interested in helping with translations? We already have a lot
of great contributions from current translators, but we could use more
help.

You do not have to make a huge commitment---even just translating a few
words would be helpful.

I know a lot of users are so fluent in English that they use LyX in
English instead of their native language, but it might be fun for you to
help translate to your native language and make LyX more accessible and
welcoming to more people.

You can see the current status of translations here:
https://www.lyx.org/I18n

If you are interested in helping, let us know (respond to the list)
which language you can help with.

Thanks,

Scott

Confirmed!

My mouse cursor had been too skimpy to see, and I had to do things like
dragging to find it. So I set:

Tools>preferences>Editing>Control>Cursor width

from its initial 1px to 4px, and it became unmistakeable, while still
appearing to fit "between" characters.

Thanks Frank (and Kornel)

Hi,

Opening Menu Tools>preferences>Editing>Control provides the
"Cursor width (pixels)" settings.

In preferences you could set
\cursor_width 12
