This probably gives the same effect as Gordon's response; however, I prefer the control provided in the preamble. \usepackage{xcolor} \usepackage[xcolor]{changebar} \providecommand{\lyxadded}[3]{} \providecommand{\lyxdeleted}{} \renewcommand{\lyxadded}[3]{{\protect\cbstart\color{lyxadded}{}#3\protect\cbend}} \renewcommand{\lyxdeleted}[3]{{\protect\cbstart\color{lyxdeleted}\sout{#3}\protect\cbend}} \setlength{\changebarwidth}{1.0pt} \cbcolor{black} \definecolor{LYXADDED}{RGB}{0, 0, 255} \definecolor{LYXDELETED}{RGB}{255, 0, 0} - Joel
Re: disabling coloured change highlights with change bars
Will, You might be able to achieve this in Tools>Preferences>Colors, changing them to black. Did something similar by regarding the changes as being from another author. May take a bit of trial and error. Gordon. Tauranga NZ. On 01/02/17 07:42, Will Parsons wrote: I'd like to produce a document that shows changes from the previous revision using changebars. disabling coloured change highlights with change bars
I'd like to produce a document that shows changes from the previous revision using changebars. I've imported the "Change bars" module, enabled change tracking, and everything works, but the changed text is highlighted in blue in addition to being indicated by the change bars. Since the change bars are already indicating the changed text, how do I disable the changes also being indicated by changing the colour? -- Will

Steve, Before throwing around adjectives, it would have been a simple matter of looking at the web site: https://www.hamrick.com/reg.html Look for Can I try VueScan before I buy? Yes! You can, and should try VueScan before you purchase. Make sure it works with your scanner before purchasing. Don Knuth is happy, Marc Paré is happy, I am happy and IDGAF about your happiness state. el On 2017-01-26 04:18, Steve Litt wrote: [...] > Dr Eberhard Lissewrote: > >> Besides the fact that I fail to see what this has to do with LyX, I >> have been using that particular package for many years (predominantly >> on the Mac but also on Windows (and even on Linux)) and am not only >> as happy with it as Prof Knuth, but also found them to be extremely >> responsive to constructive criticism. > > Nothing in the preceding paragraph in any way refutes the OP's > claim. Floats --- long captions
System: LyX 2.2.2 -- TeX Live (fully updated) Short captions centre correctly but long captions -- longer than a single line -- appear left justified. Is this the intended action or is this a bug? Regards Frank Salter
