I submitted my bachelor thesis in Physics last week, and I will discuss it tomorrow. I wrote it with LyX, and the graphical result is excellent (I hope what I wrote is good too). Thanks to all you in the users forum, for the answers readily given to my questions. Alessandro Cafarella __ Iscriviti al Meglio della Settimana, la newsletter di Yahoo! Re: Underlined 16
Lars Reineke wrote: Whenever I open a previously saved LyX-Dokument, a blue underlined 16 has been appended on the first line. What does that mean? And how do I get rid of it? I had the same problem and I solved it. One of the first lines in the lyx saved file is: \lyxformat 2,16 (Notice the 16!) If you manually change it in 2.16 each time it will work. It's boring but it's so. I think it's due to the fact that in some languages (like italian, and, I guess, german) you write 0,5 to mean one half, instead of the english use 0.5. Table of contents
I'd like that the Bibliography and the unnumbered headings (like Chapter*) appear in the Table of Contents. How can I do it? Thanks, Alessandro [EMAIL PROTECTED] __ Do You Yahoo!? Il tuo indirizzo gratis e per sempre @yahoo.it su http://mail.yahoo.it
Hyphenation
I am writing my thesis both at university and at home. The problem is that it cause a different way of hyphenating the ending word of the line: in the first case the word is not broken while in the second it's broken. You can view an example of it in the attached file, where the Chapter* Introduzione has been written at home and the Chapter 1 has been written at university. The differences between the two installations is that at university there is an earlier version of LyX, and that at home I installed the ispell dictionary, that is not present at university. How can I force LyX to behave always in the same way? If I could choose, I'd like the words would not be broken, but what is really important is to have the same behavior in the whole document. Thanks, Alessandro __ Do You Yahoo!? Il tuo indirizzo gratis e per sempre @yahoo.it su http://mail.yahoo.it capitolo1.lyx
