refstyle.cfg is twelve years old and it still works, which implies some
stability. I would rather suspect a font issue but haven't found the culprit.

Daniel,

No problem here. This is LyX 2.3.7, openSUSE Leap 15.4. Do you have a recent
system version?

If I get you right, you are struggling with coloured formulas. See subsection
11.3 of the Math manual. I don't know if bug #5269 is still around.

Patrick,

Have a look at the xcolor package. You can set your favourite colours in the

Rich,

scrpage2.sty has been deprecated for nine years or so. If it's in your
preamble, just delete it or try the replacement suggested at
https://sourceforge.net/p/koma-script/wiki-en/Error_scrpage2/

Good luck,

Scott,

1. I can't reproduce this bug.
2. openSUSE Leap 15.3
3. LyX 2.3.6.1 | Qt 5.12.7

I can confirm that LyX 2.3.6.1 perfectly works with TeXLive 2021. As for the
Mint-specific questions: sorry, no Mint here.
