how to fix spacing

Dear all,
I have problem in spacing between chapter name and paragraph and chapter 
number and chapter name. Just like this:

INTRODUCTION



PARAGRAPH 

I wannt to fix it like this

There is less spacing.

My document has wrong hypenation. So i decide to make no hypenation. 
I find a syntax in to make my document dont have hypenation.
Here is:
%no hypenation
\tolerance=1

I have not given sub number of the figure. When i put subfloat beside main 
float i found odd thing. The numbering begins o the next figure. Just like this:
I wanna subnumber fig 12 but when i do that step my subfigure begins at fig 13.a
How to repair that? Till now, i just subfigure them manually.

Teguh,
You need to use sub floats.

To achieve this on LyX, just insert a float inside another float.
This way, the caption of the sub-float is automatically named 2a, 2b and so on.

But you can use pdftk's update_info parameter to insert metadata on
a file. Google it if you need.

Hi Rojas,
Thank you for your reply. Well, i dont know the option that i must change. I 
ever see the same problem of mine in Latex and it works. but i dont know to 
solve it by lyx. I have repaired the Latex Preamble but it fail. I dont know 
how to solve it.
 
Ps. Well, for and - dan. indonesian adopt it from english :)

Hi Teguh. In the bibtex file (the one created with jabref) it isn't possible to 
do so, as the word and is a command. I think that if you defined the language 
as Indonesian in your document, and there is an indonesian translation in 
babel, it will be automatically switched to dan.

the word uses the same three letters. :D
