komascript letter class
Hi - I'd like to develop my own letter layout and took a look at komascript letter class in lyx. However, I am totally stuck and the documentation in the Extended Lyx Features does not seem to be of much help. I don't simply understand how to build the document. Can somebody send me an example lyx file to use as a starting point? I tried to define letter environment etc. but all I got when latexing the file are errors like missing \begin{document}. According to the documentation letter environment implicitly defines a new letter. What am I missing here? I use Lyx 1.2.2. from 16 Dec 2002. Thanks, Kari

whole screen photos in slide presentation
Hi, I am preparing a lecture with Lyx and prosper as a pdf-presentation. This time I would like to add a few photographs in my presentation. I would prefer them to cover the whole screen to maximise their size (this is a computer presentation) and not having slide title and other master items on the photo slidews. Any suggestions how to achieve this? An alternative is to add the photo as the only item on the slide (giving image size 100% of the page) but then (a) it is smaller in size (waste of screen area) and (b) the position is not what I like it to be (the image is placed too low with some unnecessary extra space between the title and the image). All help appreciated, thanks Kari

LInebreaks in a table
Hi! I used to manage to fix the width of a table column by giving the width and choosing the linebreaks option from the table layout display. This is explained in User's guide. However, with 1.1.6fix3 I don't seem to be able to do this anymore because I can't find linebreaks. Can somebody point me to documentation explaining how this can be done or give a quick explanation? Thanks, Kari

How does it look? Which Postscript viewer do you use? Have you set antialiasing on? I use gv and it looks like the pdf-file without ae and aecompl set. Antialiasing is on. However, this is no problem for me since I can easily change the preamble as required. Kari
