Since I don't know any newsgroups, what would be the advantage of it to
this mailinglist, considering the content? I don't think it's a very
good idea to split up the information, because the lyx-users isn't a
high traffic list anyway ... just my thoughts.

P.S.: This is not to be meant offensive, but I'm too lazy to figure out
how newsgroups are working and I don't want use Netscape ;o)
P.S.S.: Perhaps there is a way to transform mail- to newspostings and
the other way round, perhaps this could be a solution?
