complaining about what the proper display font sizes I don't see your point. One is already able to change the preferred font size in the editor, which is btw a great thing. An option to narrow the width of the document inside the editor would not alter this behavior. screen resolution To change the screen resolution doesn't make any difference because my problem is not the size or resolution of the fonts but the line width! I zoom the font to 150% and have a resolution of 1024x768 or so. However, if one maximize the window you have to read along the entire screen width which is like reading your A4 papers landscape. There is a reason why people use portrait instead of landscape: it's more readable. O.k., I could zoom the fonts to 300% but then I would loose the overview. Ronny
