Re: something wrong with biblatex [solved]
At last, it works! I've followed the patient tips and advices Charles gave: - I've installed csquotes package, and newer biblatex one (Ubuntu repositories charges the texlive 2007, which is updated); - I've taken away useless lines in the manual pramble. Thanks a lot, Charles. A mystery remains: I think I've made exactly the same as I told in the last message I've sent you, when it was working well with a tex file made with Texmaker, but not with a Lyx one. So I don't know exactly what was wrong...? Cheers, S.

You should take away the : \usepackage[francais]{babel} \usepackage{lmodern} from your preamble. something wrong with biblatex
Dear Lyxers, Something is going wrong with Biblatex which I've just discovered. I think Lyx is well configured, it recognizes the bib files and makes a final pdf file. But the pdf file shows the Bibliography title, without any references. In the preamble, I've put the entire .bib path, and I've tried exporting the .lyx file to a .tex file and to compile it with comand lines, result is the same. So surely I've made something wrong, but I don't know what... Thanks for your help! ST essai_biblio.lyx Description: application/lyx

something wrong with biblatex
Dear Lyxers, Something is going wrong with Biblatex which I've just discovered. I think Lyx is well configured, it recognizes the bib files and makes a final pdf file. But the pdf file shows the Bibliography title, without any references. In the preamble, I've put the entire .bib path, and I've tried exporting the .lyx file to a .tex file and to compile it with comand lines, result is the same. So surely I've made something wrong, but I don't know what... Thanks for your help! ST essai_biblio.lyx Description: application/lyx

Missing pages in DVI or PDF files
Hello Lyxers! A problem appeared whereas it worked well just a moment before: when I want to export my lyx file to dvi or pdf format, the document stops page 7 - but there are more! It should be a problem with my preamble or something, but I don't know what I have to do to resolve it: nothing seems strange... Thanks for your help! Sara Win XP SP2 Lyx 1.5.4 MikTeX 2.7

problems with LyX 1.5.4: compile and reconfigure
Dear all, Some problems with the released LyX 1.5.4. My OS is Win XP. I've used the Lyx Win Installer - Complete to install it, and, at the same time, install MikTeX 2.7. I had first uninstalled MikTeX 2.6. It works wonderful, thanks a lot I can read my former Lyx files. But there are at least two problems: - when I want to compile (to dvi, pdf or ps) - when I want to reconfigure after updating MikTeK or installed a new package the result is the same: LyX 1.5.4 crashes down. I've launched it several times, same result... and before a new installation (only LyX 1.5.4, no MikTeX), too... Any idea? Is it possible that the problem come from MikTex? Thanks a lot for your help. ST
