Lars Staffan Ringbom ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) entered the following feedback
Lars message on the LyX home page:
Lars

Lars eepic and epic.

Lars In order to get eepic to work with lyx I made the following
Lars trick (think I succeeded after some reading of Latex manuals)

Lars 1. I imported the tex file with the picture generated for eepic
Lars into my lyx document.

Lars 2. Saved the file as lyx file and exported it as a latex file.
Lars 3. edited the latexfile and added 2 rows \\usepackage{epic}
Lars \\usepackage{eepic} in the sequence of all the other
Lars \"usepackages\" 4. Imported my texfile back into lyx. SUCCESS I
Lars can view pictures with the xdvi - viewer. Just perfect.

Hello,

Can't you just add
  \usepackage{epic}
  \usepackage{eepic}
in Layout-LaTeX_Preamble? What is the problem then?
