Hi, Lyx 2.3 rc1 fails to save certain file names correctly!
I wish to create file names matching a particular pattern. I enter the intended title --- test-2017.Dec.23. Copy it with control-c. Open the "save as" dialogue and paste using control-v. At this point all appears well! However the saved file name is test-2017.Dec.lyx. My OS is debian Jessie. Multiple dots in file names are valid! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Frank Salter
