Is there a LyX-way to use this feature (except the trivial solution to insert

 appealing to newbie's).

No.

HFill with leading periods?

2001-09-10 Thread Niklaus Giger

I'am using LyX now for about a year and I still like it very much. I helped
my wife to write a 35 page long paper for her diploma.

Thanks to all the developers and specially to Herbert Voss and his very
helpful compendium of useful LaTeX and LyX tricks!!

But I have a small problem which I could not yet solve and for which I didn't
find any help on the web.

Sometimes I would like to have HFill with periods. Sometimes (in other
programs) also called tabs with leading character e.g. {.,-}.

E.g. my line should look like
Some text ...After HFILL with period

I have found in my A guide to LaTeX the TeX-function \dotfill which does
the job for me.

Is there a LyX-way to use this feature (except the trivial solution to insert
it using the TeX-style)? (I fear that the LaTeX-solution is not very
appealing to newbie's).
