Yes, this was a bug and it is indeed fixed in newer versions of LyX
(1.6.3 will be released quite soon).

I use Lyx 1.5.2 on Fedora. I have noted that in the Navigation menu -> 
list of tables Lyx lists also tables which are
in the "note" (commentary) environment and therefore are not seen in the 
LaTeX output. For the counts in Lyx (e.g. Table 3) it counts these 
tables too. The same is right for figures.


Is that a bug (maybe already cleaned in newer versions) or is there a 
good reason for that, which I am not able to see?
