Pb with ERT
Hello I have a problem with the new Lyx version (1.2.0 or 1.2.1) on RedHat 7.3. All is working well...except the ERT mode: I can't convert a selected word in TeX mode ; it just open a new ERT box after the selected part of text. This was not the case on previous versions. What is the problem and its solution ? Thank you very much Olivier Meplan

word in TeX mode ; it just open a new ERT box after the selected part of text. This was not the case on previous versions. What is the problem and its solution ? I think this was an intentional change made in the newer versions.. the way to insert ERT is to hit Ctrl-L (or the Tex button) which will open the box, and then put your latex code inside the box. It will automatically be red inside the box.. Hope this helps.. nirmal

Nirmal I think this was an intentional change made in the newer Nirmal versions.. the way to insert ERT is to hit Ctrl-L (or the Tex Nirmal button) which will open the box, and then put your latex code Nirmal inside the box. It will automatically be red inside the box.. And this behaviour is fixed in 1.3.0cvs. Select a text, insert some inset that contains text (ERT, footnote...) and you will have this inset with your text inside. JMarc
