Re: Re: Fwd: Re: Did you miss me?

2007-10-29 Thread Wolfgang Engelmann

From: Wolfgang Engelmann [EMAIL PROTECTED]
could one of the french members of the list tell me how to get the index of a
french translation of a book ordered the french way, that is, the following
items should be sorted under e... (échantillons, 2 ... etc...) respectively
a.. (âge, 94).

Look at this French forum [1]. If I understand correctly, instead of
\index{événement}
ou'd need
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks, Liviu, for your pointer.

Hope this comes through. I can´t send mail to the list, though I
receive mails. I try the webmail of my university now.

Wolfgang

2007-10-27 Thread Steve Litt
Hi all,

I'm forwarding this from Wolfgang, who, like me (on my Earthlink SMTP), has an
SMTP host that the lyx-list times out on. If anyone else is having this
problem, I'll forward your emails to LyX list until the admins fix the
problem.

Thanks

Dear Steve

have you gotten any response from the Lyx-lists administrator re
Did you miss me?
as I mentioned, I have the same problem: I do get the mails from the list,
but can't post any. In contrast to you I could not manage to send
successfully mail to the list by using another provider (usually I use ARCOR
as a provider, but tried also the university of Tuebingen, but in vain).

I have an urgent question and wonder whether you could be kind enough to
forward it to the list

lyx-users@lists.lyx.org

Here it is:

Hello,

could one of the french members of the list tell me how to get the index of a
french translation of a book ordered the french way, that is, the following
items should be sorted under e... (échantillons, 2 ... etc...) respectively
a.. (âge, 94).
As it is now they are the first items in the list.

échantillons, 26
écarts quadratiques, 44
éclairage, 37, 69
éclairage supplémentaire, 97
éclairement, 94
école, 93
élevage, 99
épiderme, 69, 70
évolution, 60
âge, 94

Abstract, 33
accidents, 93

Thanks,

Wolfgang
