I have a problem with importing the text. I import the first chapter
(previously a plain text tile) but when I want to add the second
chapter it comes as a new tab. This isn't what I want, at least for
viewing and ultimately saving as a pdf file. How do I see the book as
 a whole?

Is there no way to add it to the foot of the first chapter? Do I have
to do it with the mouse?

Sorry, please ignore this. I remember I was caught out by this some time
ago but forgot the answer (use Insert File). I thought I was being
caught out by a change in 1.6.1.

I assume you are using the Import function under File. You need to use
the FilePlain Text function under Insert.

I assume you are using the "Import" function under "File". You need to use
the "File>Plain Text" function under "Insert".
