I have to click on the text to return to the normal text mode. Am I missing something here? That does not happen here... Alt-I x works as you say it should. The problem comes when I press i afterwards - so the key sequence is: Alt-i x i Try to use 'ctrl-i i' instead. I haven't seen such issues with 'ctrl+i' bindings.
