Re: characters in labels
"Paolo" == Paolo M Pumilia [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Paolo I noticed that extended ascii characters cannot be included in Paolo labels to equations. In the present case, it happens that the Paolo character "à" is correctly rendered within the label, while in Paolo the editing session, but it disappears the next time the file Paolo will be opened. That happens even though latin1 encoding has Paolo been set in the document layout. Paolo Could that limitation be easily removed in the netx LyX Paolo version? I think the accented characters will be kept if LC_CTYPE is set to a reasonable value, like LC_CTYPE="it_IT.ISO8859-1". This is not completely right, but somebody would have to look at the code, which needs a serious cleanup. Then you'll have to make sure that LaTeX can actually handle such labels. JMarc
