Hi all, is there in lyx any way, howto indent float object (or table,figure) to the left border, so it will overlap the left margin used for the rest of the text ? |text-| |text-| |float| |text-| |text-| into |text-| |text-| |float--| |text-| |text-| thanks pavel

I tried to use the \begin{multicols}{1} command but the figure diseappers from the post script document. do u know how to solve this problem ? There is an error if you used float figure. The package can not combine with float because it will break the 2 column mode into one-column exactly after the command \begin{strip}, which mean the picture should be exactly in this location. The float can not be used in such situation (IMHO). Use non-float figure, instead. Otherwise, try to use widefigure-float, but sometime it is not better than this package. Wayan
